Sex and the City

Well I packed up my bag last night and made sure my dress was clean and am all ready to check into the Georgian Terrace Hotel tonight for a fun girls night. We'll be, well they will be, drinking martinis and having some appetizers then we will head over to Atlantic Station where we will watch the movie in style as we've all picked out a pretty dress and fancy shoes for the event. then we'll head back to the hotel for some girls night fun.

I am very excited for the event but I must say that I find myself wishing again for my recovery to be over and for my face to look normal again. If it were we would probably be going out in midtown after the movie or at the very least I'd be drinking martini's with the girls, but it's jut not the same drinking a martini out of a sippy cup. Oh well, we will have a very fun night anyway and being me, owning every season of Sex in the City and watching them well, constantly I can't wait to see what the movie has in store!

Hello Blogging world!



Well I must say this is not my first attempt at a blog, but my last one was back in high school sometime and really didn't work out too well. However, with all that's happening in my life I've decided to give it another go.



I feel like I should do a little re-cap of the past few months so you can know where I am as I start this blogging journey. However I don't really know where to start and have therefore just written 3 pages worth a re-cap of the past year. I'll spare you the details and we'll just let you learn as we go.



You might be wondering what the title of my Blog means. I find myself in a period of life right now where I am giving a lot of things to God and letting him take care of them. However, what happens when you give things to God is you tend to find yourself in a a period of waiting. I was talking about this with one of my lovely small group ladies about a month ago and she said (I'm paraphrasing) "Don't you just want to tell him I'm going to need you to go ahead and take care of that now, Thanks God." We get very impatient with our lives at times and we tend to forget that there is usually a reason we're still waiting. What Mary said has stuck in my head ever since and I just thought it would be fitting as a Blog title since most of what my daily thoughts will be about are things that I am in a period of waiting about. So Thanks Mary! You inspired my Title!
